What Is Downstage’s Pay It Forward Program?
Thanks to the support of our donors, this program makes tickets available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone who wants to see one of our productions.

How Does It Work?
One month before any of our shows, no-cost tickets can be reserved. Please check our website for details one month before the production begins.
Show up at the theatre no later than 10 minutes before the show to claim your reserved tickets.
Any unclaimed tickets will be offered at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
I appreciate that I do not have to give my reason for barriers to access the show. This makes me feel better about seeking an affordable ticket.
