April 17, 2013 - 2013-14 Season Announced: Downstage is thrilled to announce our 10th Anniversary Season, featuring the English Language Premiere of Wajdi Mouawad's A Bomb in the Heart (translated by Linda Gaboriau), the World Premiere of My Family and Other Endangered Species by Ellen Close and Braden Griffiths (adapted from the novel Amphibian by Carla Gunn), and a work-in-development presentation as part of our new Fieldwork series; Crime Does Not Pay, a new concert musical by David Rhymer and Kris Demeanor.
June 7 & 8, 2013: A work-in-development presentation as part of our new Fieldwork series; My Family and Other Endangered Species by Ellen Close and Braden Griffiths. 7:30pm nightly in the Arts Learning Centre, tickets by donation at the door (cash only please).
August 26-31, 2013: The Downstage Creation Ensemble's Good Fences will be touring around Calgary & area with the support of
